

The ICT Mark
Guillemont was first recognised for its excellence in Teaching and Learning in ICT in 2005 when it achieved the NAACE Mark in ICT. Shortly after this a new national award was announced by Becta. Guillemont first gained the ICT mark in 2006 and was successfully re-assessed in 2008.

ICT Consultant School
Miss Cook, the Headteacher, is a Leading Leader with Becta. This is a national network of senior leaders in Primary and Secondary Schools promoting best practice and developing ICT ideas for learners in the 21st Century. She is qualified to support schools in ICT Self-evaluation and achieving the ICT Mark. The school has been used to host SLICT training events for Headteachers and senior leaders.

ICT Register
The school is an invited member of the national ICT Register where schools can access information and development advice. Guillemont is registered as having particular strengths in: Parental Engagement through On-line Reporting, Independent Learning, ICT Curriculum design, Sustainability and Leadership and Management

Healthy Schools Award
Guillemont now holds the enhanced status of the Healthy Schools Award (2008). Mrs Burford has led this aspect of school work passionately for a number of years and we are very proud of this achievement. Pupil care and guidance, personal development and guidance were all rated as good in our OFSTED Report of 2008. In addition the school was also said to be outstanding in:
- the extent to which learners adopt healthy lifestyles
- the extent to which learners adopt safe practices
- the extent to which learners make a positive contribution to the community
