Started at Guillemont : September 1990 as part time teacher then worked full-time. I was appointed a member of the Senior Management Team in April 2001.
College or University Attended : Whitelands College, Roehampton
Institute of Higher Education (R.I.H.E.), now known as Roehampton University.
Qualifications : Certificate of Education (1978) Bachelor of Education Hons (1979) specialist subjects art and science.
Field and Open Country Leadership Award, MIDAS mini-bus trained, NOF training award March 2003.
Previous teaching experience and work with children : I have worked for ILEA in and around Battersea, Clapham and Wandswoth. After leaving college I worked for Surrey as a teacher in Middle schools at Guildford and Lightwater before working for Hampshire.
Teaching current age group : I am currently teaching Year 5 and Year 6. I was a Year 3 and Year 4 teacher from September 1998 until July 2001.
Curriculum responsibilities : I am responsible for Personal Development Learning across the whole school. I have had responsibilities for art, craft and design, display and science at previous schools.
Management responsibilities : I have been promoted to a Leading Teacher
position from September 2006 and currently hold a Teaching and Learning Responsibility for Every Child Matters and the Year 5 Cohort. I am also the Healthy Schools Manager and Transition Co-ordinator.
Extra curricular involvement : None at present.
PTA or Governing Body Involvement : I support the school whenever I can.
Personal details : I am married and live in Farnborough with my husband, who is a head teacher. We have a son and a daughter. In my spare time I enjoy watching films, reading, holidays abroad and gardening.
