Policies

The Federation of Guillemont Junior School and Pinewood Infant School, use policies in order to provide a structured and safe learning environment. These policies are written in accordance with relevant legislation. They are used to promote inclusivity, diversity and equal opportunities for all children and staff.

Policies cover areas such as safeguarding, positive behaviour management, curriculum delivery and special educational needs, aiming to create an optimal educational experience that prepares students for the challenges of the future.

The Federation Governing Body work as a ‘critical friend’ to develop, review and adopt policies. Some policies are implemented across the federation and others are bespoke to Guillemont Junior School.
